MooRER in Via della Spiga in Milan

The company from Verona, Italy, specialized in down jackets and padded outerwear, will inaugurate in September its first flagship store in the capital of Italian fashion.

Founded in 2006 and still led by Moreno Faccincani, the brand at first focused on menswear and followed then with womenswear, always following on very clear strategies: high quality materials, 100% Made in Italy manufacturing, focus on the core business. The success of the Veneto-based company allowed Faccincani to achieve the big step, already in the pipeline for some time, to invest in the first flagship store in Milan. The soft opening is scheduled in early September in Via della Spiga 48, one of the most famous and renowned fashion streets on the planet. The official opening will take place during Milan Fashion Week later in September. “The shop in Via della Spiga that will open in early September” said Moreno Faccincani “will represent the MooRER world: 200 square meters is the right amount of space. The Milan flagship store” says the founder and owner “will be an extraordinary communication vehicle but we would like to reach a break even soon thanks to the strong recovery of the internal market that we saw throughout Italy in 2015 as witnessed in the wholesale channel”. With the opening of the boutique in the heart of Milan, MooRER will grow even faster than in recent years, including, to be more precise, in 2015 when its economic results were excellent. The company, which gained significant market share in a very competitive sector like the outwear jacket and in particular down jacket segment, is from the start focused on a stylistic product of high quality, innovation and development, without ever taking consider the idea of delocalize manufacturing. Always focusing on product, MooRER also launched a women’s capsule collection created and curated by Francesca Marchisio. The A/W 2016 womenswear capsule collection shares with the other ranges by the company, including the sophisticated and essential women’s collection, the belief that form and function must come together with equilibrium, the need for simplicity, the indispensable research in the details. Among the brand new proposals, the reversible coats focused on patterns and volumes. The egg-shaped line begins to accentuate the waist, the length increases, the silhouette is more slender while the drawstrings create games of movement. Worth mentioning the Travel Trench Coat, a double-breasted reversible coat with detachable hood, very versatile when matched with skirts and trousers and perfect when travelling. As well as the Masculine Coat, a double-breasted long coat, and the exquisite Kimono Maxi Cape, where the egg-shaped line is emphasized by darts that mark the waist making the volumes more feminine. There are also the Kimono Reversible Poncho with sleeves made of soft warm fabric, the Trapeze Cape with a bomber jacket collar and neoprene and mohair details, and the Smart Parka, a reversible medium length peacoat with dropped shoulders, characterized by a large peak and neoprene pockets. A capsule collection that explores the very topical contrast between minimalism and maximalism.
