Pitti Bimbo: focus on research, lifestyle and new areas of childrenswear

Flowers blossom on walls, exhibition areas and objects like ironic, effervescent, unlikely ideas in the new fantastic world of the 85th edition of Pitti Bimbo, because the theme of the childrenswear trade show from June 2nd to 24th is indeed BOOM, PITTI BLOOMS.

Building upon the strength of the last edition, which was visited by more than 10,000 fashion professionals, the 85th edition of Pitti Bimbo promises to be even more full of surprises and improvements than ever. Among the numerous new development of this edition, the debut of the “mini” collections by world famous brands like Emilio Pucci, launching a kids’ collection for 0 to 14 years old in collaboration with Simonetta, as well as Neil Barrett. Another new entry is the iconic Italian childcare brand Inglesina. Also worth mentioning the return of brands such as Roberto Cavalli Junior and Giuseppe Junior by Giuseppe Zanotti.

Because of the positive response in previous editions, Pitti Bimbo offers once again sections like The Fancy Room dedicated to children lifestyle, The Nest focused on emerging brands, Off The Page, showcasing the work of illustrators as well as Apartment, Kid’s Evolution and the creative lab KidzFIZZ. Other areas of this new edition are Sport Generation, Superstreet and EcoEthic, dedicated to the best brands that are developing eco-sustainable green collections.

The calendar events includes catwalk shows by important brands like Ronnie Kay, Fun & Fun, Little Star, Gaialuna, She.Ver, I Pinco Pallino and Monnalisa that has chosen not to show in the official venue Fortezza.
