Challenges and opportunities for digitization in manufacturing processes
“Industry 4.0: digital transformation in the manufacturing and development of textile products” is the theme of the first round table organized by Messe Frankfurt Italia at Villa Erba, Cernobbio (Como), the result of over 50 events for the textile group and a strong technological know-how tied to 4.0 that was gained in nine editions of SPS Italia, an exhibition project for automation technologies in Italy. Professionals in the textile sector have looked into the challenges and opportunities of digitalization in manufacturing processes told through the experiences of textile and textile machinery companies, thanks to their managers and industrial directors. Messe Frankfurt Italia collaborated in creating this event with ACIMIT and Tex Club Tec, helping to take stock in the market and the potential of innovation in the textile sector for many fields of applications, highlighting how the collaboration between technology and manufacturing suppliers is essential to meet challenges and opportunities.
