The Cité de la Mode et du Design presents Loov Kultuur, a journey to the heart of Estonia

A new enterprising project is being hosted from December 8th 2017 to January 21st 2018 in the extraordinary Cité de la Mode et du Design In Paris.
‘Loov Kultuur’ is a journey to the heart of Estonia following an itinerary specifically designed to celebrate of Estonia first 100 years of independence (2018).
The exhibition comprises of a number of progressive initiatives such as the Upcycling Project by the Estonian designer Reet Aus, which is part of the ‘Size Does Not Matter’ exhibition featuring more than 70 objects and accessories typical of Estonia.
In addition to fashion, street art, photos and film projections are meant to enrich the viewers’ participation by amplifying the sensory experience started when entering the building. As a matter of fact, the lobby hosts ‘Vagabonds’ installation by Sophie Larger and Stéphanie Buttier.
An  unmissable stop to crown the visit to an exhibition that allows to savour every aspect of Estonian culture is ‘Iglusaun’, a sauna designed to give the mind the sensation of relaxing  under the Baltic sky.
Overlooking the Seine and located in Quai d’Austerliz 34, the  Cité de la Mode et du Design cultural centre is a place of inspiration for designers and creators with a proven innovative mindset.
