Three days of events full of initiatives and activities during the 27th edition of Milano Unica

Meetings, initiatives, and activities, with exhibitors, buyers, journalists, and fashion students from all over the world. Three days in the name of quality
and that Made in Italy style. This was the 27th edition of Milano Unica. The main focus of the exhibition was a very current theme: sustainability. “Sustainability is a way of living andreacting, a question of conscience, a commitment for future generations, a new way of creating,
producing, distributing, selling,” stated the President of the event, Ercole Botto Poala.

For the textile industry, the second in the world when it comes to environmental impact, sustainability is a decisive challenge, which goes hand in hand with an important opportunity for development, in an increasingly sensitive and attentive market. As an event that promotes the excellence of Italian textile and accessories manufacturing, Milano Unica is committed to promoting dialogue among the exhibiting companies with regard to the issue of sustainable production.

In this edition, it ripropose the importance of sustain- ability. The Sustainability Area registered a very high participation rate that almost tripled in growth, with 123 companies presenting over 750 samples of fabrics and accessories produced in respect of the environment.
