Barbara I Gongini F/W 2017/18
Soft washed leathers, light cottons, raw linens, longhaired wools with chalk-coated textures and dusty tones, obtained through stone washing and cold dyeing for a collection that suc- cessfully combines clashing style codes like traditional tailoring and urban streetwear. This pretty much summarises ‘Collection 9 & 26’, the inspiringly original series of proposals for the upcoming cold season by Barbara í Gongini. Based, as usual, on a typically Nordic avant-garde approach to fashion design, the collection once again invites the wearers to experiment with layering the garments in their own way.
