Thanks to custom-tailored cuts in Barbara I Gongini’s collection, garments are deconstructed, highlighting the physical anatomy. A set of fragments is perceived as a whole, like a mosaic that emphasizes the natural shapes of the body. Shadowland cannot but introduce natural nuances: clay, mud, solidified lava represent the palette of colors. A conceptual approach to functionality and a style that is closer to Urban Youth Culture. Contrasting fabrics: boiled wool, silk, cashmere, and leather create a tactile and visual stimulation.
