Guillame Henry is the new creative director of Jean Patou

The French giant LVMH has enlisted Guillaume Henry at the creative helm of Jean Patou. The designer, who last March left the creative helm at Nina Ricci after three years following an experience at Carven, will deal with the relaunch of the brand. The first collection with Guillame Henry as new creative director is expected to be launched in the second half of 2019 and will include ready-to-wear and accessories. It is not yet clear which steps the plan to relaunch Jean Patou, the French label founded in 1887 and active in sportswear and, above all, perfumes, will take. Being a niche brand, it is likely that LVMH will start from the opening of a boutique, most probably in Paris, from e-commerce and from a selection of wholesale partners.
