Aimée: a bag born to be loved

Aimée represents in all respects, even from a linguistic point of view, the evolution of the Ai, the already iconic Akris bag. While the word ‘ai’ means ‘love’ in Japanese, the French term ‘aimée’ translates instead as ‘the loved one’. Made of ultra-soft leather and available in three different sizes, the new bag is sometimes embellished with python leather details.
The “mini” version of the Aimée is the perfect companion for both day and night as it adds a special touch to any look and stands out, in particular in the black and white version, thanks to a contemporary graphic style. The “medium” format gives a modern and a bit irreverent allure to the everyday work routine. Thanks to an innovative press fastener system, this model can be easily transformed from a large size shopper into an elegant trapezoidal bag, a shape that is synonym with Akris. Last but not least, the “weekender” version is characterized by extraordinary versatility. From a multi-purpose bag, perfect for a long weekend or for sport activities, it can become in matter of seconds a refined trapezoidal city bag. The inside zip pocket and two extra inside pockets are perfect for storing personal belongings. The adjustable and removable shoulder strap gives the “weekender” extra practicality and further versatility of use.
