Alexander Mcqueen a/w 2016-17
A collection ever more special that borders on haute couture not only because of the grace of the proposals but also because of an inherent concept of femininity, ever so ethereal and with a strong romantic vein. The inspiration is partly taken from the world of lingerie of yesteryear, precious and impalpable for creatures as light as butterflies, ready to take flight. The materials are like gusts of zephyr: silks, satins, lace with beads and sequins that give a touch of light. Statement volumes for the outerwear, as dictated by the Maison, which remains faithful to the originally masculine concept of tailoring.
