Explore metamorphic sandscapes with Unsung

With the Spring/Summer 2016 collection the Danish label Unsung embarks on a discovery journey in search of lost connections with nature and the primal using an approach based of the explorative and archeological missions and endeavours of the early part of the 20th century.

The creative team focused on images of early explorers in remote excavation sites and researched what these heroic adventurers discovered and what impact these newly rediscovered finds had on the world. Alongside this theme, a series of childhood memories with movies such as the Indiana Jones saga and Stargate and early computer games like Tomb Raider.

The result is a collection of avant-garde yet functional no gender specific garments made of a mix of organic and man-made fabrics with different textures in a colour palette of earthy tones. The games of cut-up elements and the digital prints are a reflection of the somewhat distorted image of a collection that successfully merges different strands of inspirations.
