The designer from Modena will be celebrating her 50-year career

A grand evening of fashion and music in Piazza Roma, in Modena, on Saturday, June 18th to 21st. In celebrating her 50 years in the fashion business, Anna Marchetti will have a Ferris wheel installed, symbolizing a contemporary metropolis, the cycle of life cycle, as is the cyclical nature of fashion. The initiative, sponsored by the City, will be presented by Roberta Capua (Miss Italy 1986) and will include two art and fashion schools from the area, involved in a themed competition/fashion show with prizes. During the representation, which is open to everyone and admission is free, Silvia Mezzanotte, Anna Marchetti’s friend and testimonial for the company, will perform in several of her most successful pieces. The models for the fashion show will then come off the Ferris wheel, which will be one with the stage, to model the Anna Marchetti Spring/Summer 2016 Jessy Collection – the brand’s young line – along with a premiere of her Fall/Winter evening wear creations. During the evening, a preview will also be presented of the book by Fabrizio Vaccari on the entrepreneurial and personal story of the designer.
