Antonio Ortega haute couture a/w 16/17

Antonio Ortega’s collection is inspired by how different cultures remember and honor the deceased, especially in Mexico. The gifts offered to the dead: flowers, pictures, sacred images are the common thread of an ensemble of prints and appliqués with a strong emotional impact. Gold and silver impart a note of joy and richness to the garments. The motifs designed by the fashion designer keep alive the memory of our loved ones who have passed. Purple and red are the dominant colors. Humor, fantasy, and beauty give rhythm to this couture oration.
