Bianchi e Nardi 1946: a taste of the tropics

The Spring/Summer 2016 collection comes alive thanks to wilderness suggestions from the tropical Rainforest.

Bags that vibrate as if they were crossed by the magic and diversity of the rain forest, from the grey/green of the moss-covered stones to the dark tones of the undergrowth through the iridescent turquoise wings of a butterfly and from the contrasting shades of the beak of a toucan to the changing geometries drawn from the sun over the treetops.

Meanwhile, the crocodile, python and ostrich skins, made butter-soft by vegetable tanning, are rendered even more exclusive by the natural colours and the work by skilled craftsmen and seem to return to their natural habitat.

The five themes of the collections are united to the distinctive traits of Bianchi e Nardi 1946: the exclusive jewellery clasp in agate stone pearl, hand-decorated handles, daring combinations of colours, materials and shapes, as well as the highest certified quality exotic leathers and the extraordinary commitment of artisanal excellence.

The ‘Crocodile Rock’ range was created by the combination of crocodile leather with a velvety finish, masterfully hand-dyed, and suede in soft colours, inspired by the dazzling afternoon sun reflected upon the rivers and jungle waterfalls. The extraordinary metallic tonal gradations of the ‘Python Sunrise’ range, available in ‘Butterfly Blue’ or ‘Wood’, are the result of an experience that is rooted in the long tradition of the Florentine fashion house.

And again, inspired by the luxurious leather interior of the legendary Aston Martin for James Bond, the ‘Fast Seat’ bags are made from exotic skins quilted by hand to give them contrast and texture. The ‘Fast Seat Python’ is available in the colours black or “natural”, the ostrich versions area available in bolder tropical colours that recall those of birds of paradise.

Made of laser engraved snakeskin in vivid colour combinations of green and yellow or red and blue, the bags in the ‘Jungle’ range are inspired by the abstract organic beauty of palm leaves beneath the warm tropical sun.

The theme ‘Night Stars’ finally shows a triumph of glittering jewels, ready to shine in the hot summer nights. The range consists of elegant clutch bags with rounded shapes, to keep in your hand like a precious stone or on the shoulders, bucket bags that hide in them a purse and a mirror on the bottom, just as well as the clutch purses to store what is needed for the evening, with external pocket to have the mobile phone always at hand.
