The Pirelli Calendar by Peter Lindbergh

Presented in Paris: the 2017 edition of the legendary, The Cal, with images by the great internationally renowned photographer

The German master is the only photographer who was called for the third time to shoot the iconic Pirelli calendar. The leitmotif for 2017 was explained by Lindbergh himself: “In a time when women are represented in the media, and everywhere else, as ambassadors of perfection and youth, I thought it was important to remind everyone that there is a different beauty, more real and truthful, and not manipulated by commercial or any other interest: a beauty that speaks of individuality, the courage to be yourself and your own private sensitivity.”  With this, it is no coincidence that the photographer has chosen to call this edition of the calendar, “Emotional”.
