Carlo Capasa is confirmed as president of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana

Carlo Capasa has been re-elected as president of the Camera Italiana della Moda Italiana, the governing body of Italian fashion, for the next two years. The confirmation came after  the latest board meeting, which also appointed the new directors. Capasa, now in his third term, was unanimously elected, as were all the other board members, including the new entry Tomaso Trussardi who replaces his mother Maria Luisa Gavazzeni. The board of directors, to which honorary chairmen Mario Boselli and Beppe Modenese were added as honorary chairmen, for the 2018-2020 period remains made of 15 members, i.e. Patrizio Bertelli, Lavinia Biagiotti, Marco Bizzarri, Carlo Capasa, Jacopo Etro, Giovanna Gentile Ferragamo, Massimo Ferretti, Luigi Maramotti, Angela Missoni, Renzo Rosso, Remo Ruffini, Stefano Sassi, Carla Sozzani, Tomaso Trussardi and Ermenegildo Zegna. “For CNMI these have been significant years with important achievements within the pillars placed at the centre of the our strategy: storytelling, sustainability, training, young and new brands, digitalization, institutional relationships, as well as the organization of the fashion weeks”, reads an official note.
