C’est Chic in Shanghai…
The next edition of CHIC International Fashion Fair will take place from the 11th to the 13th of October in the metropolis that is Shanghai.
CHIC is the most important professional fashion fair in the Far East, and it is certainly no coincidence that it has always taken place here for 24 years. In October, the event will be divided into various areas: New Look (women’s fashion), Prestige (men’s fashion), Kid’s Paradise (children’s fashion), Secret Stars (accessories), and CHIC Young Blood. This highly sectorial fair concept will allow retailers to have an all-around overview of the fashion industry.
Do not miss the area called Impulses, specifically dedicated to designers. Through this innovative segment, CHIC caters to multi-brand stores and buyers who wish to refresh their assortment of merchandise. In particular, Chinese visitors are those looking for new styles that are unique and unexpected, yet, strongly characterized by an individualistic spirit. An innovation in this October edition will be the “School Uniform” section, dedicated to creations by fashion school students in China and more.
The London salon, Pure, will also participate in the event with its own pavilion, where it will present international brands, such as Boatdock’s, Jianhui London. La Stampa, Lautem, Ness, Nobrand, Vendula London, and Walking Zone. Similarly, Italy and France will also be present with their own pavilions and brands.
Another feature of the exhibition will be dedicated to innovations and start-ups, with proposals by 33 young designers from fashion institutes. These designers will have the opportunity to take advantage of a platform where they can share their experiences, meet buyers, and speak with representatives of the press.
