Know-how and high technology advance on the catwalk, 3d garments are obtained thanks to a cutting-edge technology: laser sintering, with its surprising effects. Karl Lagerfeld reinterprets this way the reinvented iconic jacket and the suit: the fabric is a new perforated matelassé that looks to the future. The silhouettes are graphic and structured, the references to the male wardrobe are many: necklines, shoulders, cuffs, even hairstyles are neo-tomboy. The surprising setting of the show: a casino in which a score of international celebrities gamble wearing clothes made for the occasion.
