A garden of delights blossomed in Paris. Raf Simons’ setting is a stage of beautiful and intriguing contrasts, a vision balanced between innocence and experience, simplicity and luxury, beauty and decadence. There are strong references to the work of French and Flemish painting and crafts masters: the catwalk becomes a wonderful picture that investigates and reveals a compromise between illusion and reality. Great attention to sleeves and to ethereal or provocative dresses: a thin border that stems from a forbidden fruit.
