The fun-filled Autumn/Winter of Ziztar
An imaginative use of colour distinguishes the Autumn/Winter 2016 collection by Ziztar. The other main characteristics of the cacti- and desert-inspired range by the emerging label are the bold prints, both figurative and abstract, and appliqués as well as the roomy and slight oversize shapes and silhouettes.
Ziztar was launched by Mabel and Zuice, two sisters with a six year age difference who grew up, at times together, at times apart, both in Hong Kong and in the United Kingdom. Though educated with the same family values, the two sisters have extremely different characters that complement each perfectly: Mabel, the marketing director, is more practical and mature while the creative director Zuice is more emotional and always in love with anything that has to do with fantasy and imagination. After spending years apart and following their own paths, Mabel and Zuice got together and decided to work together collaborating with their father who owns a fashion garment manufacturing business.
