Delfine Manivet bridalwear summer 2017

In this new collection, designer Delphine Manivet celebrates the place where her creations come to life, thanks to a close-knit team of expert hands. The atelier is located in the Ville Lumière, at n.18 of Rue Boissy d’Anglas. The intent is not only that of commending this splendid building, but also to remember the women who have lived there. The sweetness and romance of Madeleine Lambert, a talented musician and mother of six  children – who occupied those rooms during the 17^th century – is expressed in the voile and ruffles that envelope the silhouette, while the sensuality of the 19^th century writer, Laure Junot d’Arbantes – a friend of Victor Hugo’s – is reflected in pieces with a more modern appeal.
