10th November 2015
Star of an event that was held at the Palazzo Serbelloni during Women’s Fashion Week in Milan, the Turkish label, Desa Nineteenseventytwo, which reached its success in the belpaese that is Italy, presented its 2015- 2016 Fall/Winter Collection, designed by its very talented creative director, Yossy Cohen, and inspired by the personality of the iconic actress of Austrian origin, Romy Schneider and, in particular, her performance in the film, “Une histoire simple”.
In 2013, the Desa company, founded by the Celet family, proposed the new Romy Bag and the Lady bag as novelties for the season, which accompanied the iconic Four, Seven, and Twentytwo. A new category was also added to the collection: Androgene, where neoprene and lux Napa are excellently combined. A product that is unisex in its forms.
As far as the materials used: lux Napa, ostrich, suede, fur, and “deerskin” elaborated leather are the absolute stars of this collection. The line is distinguished by handmade woven details inserted into the tradition of the Ottoman culture, while colors and geometric patches are influenced by the paintings of Josef Albers and the designs of Charlotte Perriand. Complying with the DNA and the aesthetics of the brand, the new metal lock has also been covered with leather, in line with the Desa Nineteenseventytwo philosophy, where leather and dexterity are the absolute protagonists.
