Dot to Dot London. A promise kept.

The Spring/Summer 17 Edition of the London event was, in fact, as announced by its organizers, the biggest and the best under many aspects.

Dot to Dot London had promised that the Spring/Summer 17 edition would be the biggest and the best and so it was. This sixth edition gave way to 60 among the best specialized brands in the world of children from the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. Added to this was a huge increase in buyers – 144%! – along with press representatives and … there you have it! Visitors were able to admire design in its every shape and size, highly inspirational clothing, footwear not devoid of intricate and intriguing details, innovative ideas for creative playtime, top accessories for parents and children, exquisite linens for cribs, interior designs of superfine quality, and evergreen garments.

Sharon Wallace, editor at Design Mum, enthusiastically declared: “I finally made it. I was able to visit the Dot to Dot event for the first time, and I was not at all  disappointed. The trade show was bursting with talent from every pore!” From her point of view,   Yonca Muslubas, designer for My Nuuba, commented: “To find ourselves among this group of independent designers, opinion leaders, sector experts, and journalists has given our business a great hand. My Nuuba is happy and proud to be part of the truly unique community of Dot to Dot.

The Dot to Dot Awards were won by the bedding company, Forivor, for best non-apparel, and by the brand of accessories, Little Hotdog Watson, as best new entry. Our colleague, Peppe Orru, a fashion editor who collaborates with our Collezioni magazines, was one of the jury members and affirmed: “I found a number of emerging talents at their debut with very original and inimitable creations, and many other designers who had something new and interesting to offer.” The upcoming appointment with Dot to Dot will be January 22nd and 23rd at the Vinyl Factory, in the British capital, with its Fall/Winter 17 edition and another mix of design, creativity, and stimulating, as well as profitable collaborations.
