Dries Van Noten confirms his being the master of colors and fabrics (both printed and not). The woman on his fashion show resembles some of the ’40s celebrities. Indeed, jackets have well-defined shoulders and an almost rétro elegance with amazing handcrafting characterized by large amounts of sequins and embroidery on colors such as purple, red, black and lilac. Thus the name Dries Van Noten remains a synonym for sophisticated elegance.
