Etro arrives in Dallas, Texas
Etro opened a new boutique at the Highland Park Village in Dallas, Texas.
The space, which extends over an area of over 200 square meters, houses accessories and perfumes in addition to the men’s and women’s collections. The Store Design perfectly represents the latest generation of Etro boutiques. The inspiration behind this project is an Art Deco style design: the furnishings have a lightweight structure, steel combines perfectly with lacquered walls and the floor is of elegant marble, stylish and very chic.The brand’s accessories featured in the store include footwear, handbags, small leather goods, jewellery, sunglasses, shawls and scarves.
The Milan fashion house was founded in 1968 by Girolamo (Gimmo) Etro and is still a family business. In the same year, Gimmo started producing fine fabrics, made with fine and natural fibres, and enriched by original designs and innovative colours. After the introduction of the furnishing fabrics collection in 1981, the product range expanded further in 1984 with leather goods and the collection of paisley jacquard fabric bags and duffel bags -the brand’s key trademark – whose special coating technique become synonymous with elegance. Etro’s success has always been driven by their printing techniques, materials research, modern workmanship and craftsmanship: the necessary ingredients for a particularly original and much appreciated production.
