Fausto Puglisi, the Sicilian – Californian designer, announced the signing of a licensing agreement for footwear with Sebastian SpA, a company that claims more than 40 years of experience in the production of luxury footwear in Italy. uauceyrolsbedzuy_lDistributed exclusively worldwide by Massimo Bonini showrooms in Milan and New York, the collection consists of court shoes, boots and combat boots, to meet the demands of a sensitive, evolving international market. “I found in Sebastian the ideal production partner for an ever growing collection – said Puglisi-. imagesXWYV1SQOThe brand has been synonymous with Italian class since the seventies, and knows how to interpret my rock style with wisdom and balance.” Born in 1976, Fausto Puglisi took his first steps in the fashion industry in New York, where he began working with fashion stylist Patti Wilson. From the Big Apple, he then flew to the West Coast, to Los Angeles, where he sold his first garments at Maxfield and came into contact with the fashion and show business elites. His creations were showcased by stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue and Pamela Anderson, but the big break came when costume designer Arianne Phillips dressed Madonna with a fur trimmed black coat made by the Italian designer: this garment became a sort of second skin for the Italian-American pop star, who wore it at several public events, including the legendary MTV Music Awards.  scarpa-503x340

Exuberant and yet very practical and concrete, Puglisi commutes between the US and the Belpaese, alternating the creation of unique pieces for the top stars from across the ocean, with some prestigious consulting work, including collaborations with Anna Molinari and the Versace fashion house.
