Fausto Puglisi creates the costumes for Puccini’s Turandot

The designer from Messina has been called to create the costumes for the new staging of Giacomo Puccini’s Turandot, which will open the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago on July 14th.

Fausto Puglisi, along with the costume designer and set designer, Leila Fteita, has designed the costumes for the new edition of the famous opera by Puccini, which will open the festival on July 14th  in Torre del Lago. The new version of the last masterpiece by the great composer will be conducted by Maestro Alberto Veronesi and directed by Alfonso Signorini, a well-known critic and TV personality in Italy, here in an unusual creative role that embodies his innate passion for classical music and opera. “Fausto Puglisi”, stated Signorini, “was the first name I thought of as soon as I was chosen as director. His extreme, rock vision perfectly embodies the controversial, enigmatic, and profoundly contemporary spirit of this opera, which has a great personal value for me.”
