Frammenti. Beauty and high fashion in Civitavecchia
In the province of Rome, in the port town of Civitavecchia, the 18th edition of this event, where great couturiers and other artists unite.
The 18th edition of Frammenti, held in Porto Livorno in Civitavecchia, was outstanding throughout.
Great beauty and great artists registering a total sell out, with many spectators who had to attend the show standing. Inaugurated with a pious tribute by famous actor, Luca Ward – who read pages from Pliny and the Younger – and by the fashion show of collections inspired by the Etruscans – created by the students from the fashion class of the Calamatta Institute, the evening was presented by the talented and beautiful Chiara Giallonardo who, after some very highly memorable musical moments, kicked off the show.
High Fashion was the undisputed star of the evening, with collections by Roberto Guarducci, for years with Karl Lagerfeld at Fendi, who proposed an elegant, refined woman. Master jeweler, Gerardo Sacco, enchanted the audience with a tribute to Trajan and his creations, worn by celebrities like Liz Taylor and Monica Bellucci.
Gianni Sapone, the “golden boy” of Made In Italy couture, brought to the runway a journey into his boyhood, with beautiful sinuous women from Southern Italy, who wore garments rich in craftsmanship and precious details.
Franco Ciambella, “the designer of dreams”, presented his new collection of ten dresses inspired by Venus, made up of evanescent garments, often austere, vibrating with all the colors that are typical of Roman paintings. The designer interpreted his “dream” by combining the minimalism of shapes and cuts that dress the body with light and transparency, for a woman who becomes a modern icon, both pure and sensual, at the same time.
The guest star of the evening was the soprano Maria Rita Combattelli accompanied by South Korean pianist Ju Hee Lee.
