Francesco Scognamiglio e l’Haute Couture

Francesco Scognamiglio is ready to walk the Parisian Haute Couture runways as a star. Spotlights on an appointment of great impact and one that underscores several previews. On one hand, the designer with Neapolitan roots will be the first Italian to attend and, in fact, open the Haute Couture Week in the Ville Lumière. The fashion show is scheduled at 3pm, Sunday, July 3rd, the first day of the event.
After all, the show represents the Maison’s debut in the official haute couture calendar as a membre invité of the French Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture.
A rendez-vous confidentiel is scheduled with the press, and the most renowned clients, who will unveil the Francesco Scognamiglio Fall-Winter 2016/17 collection.
The designer, with his international vocation, who also trained with the Versace atelier, returns to his first loves: tailoring and haute couture.
A natural culmination and a logical evolution of a successful journey across the catwalks of women’s ready-to-wear during Milan Fashion Week, which began under a lucky star in March 2001 and, after his great debut in Paris, the future may see the start of a new menswear project, something the designer has long thought about.
