The “East Europe Goes Wild-Wild West!” collection by Gosia Baczynska is an harmonious ensemble of suggestions from various cultures. Polish folklore, from Gosia’s native land, marries with American Western. Daywear is knits, jeans, and leather, while eveningwear flaunts embroidered dresses embellished with sequins. Luminous fabrics, lurex, silk, and chiffon are enlivened by motifs like guns and bullets. Tradition and legends are modernized and revisited with a look to the future.
