Gucci shows in Paris for a season

The Italian luxury brand has announced that it will present the Spring/Summer 2019 collection in Paris on September 24th, therefore leaving Milan Fashion Week for Paris Fashion Week for a season. The decision, “as part of a series of three tributes to France” as reads an official statement released by the brand, was officially shared with the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) and the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. Gucci will present its collection again in its Gucci Hub in Milan starting from February 2019 and is preparing a special event in collaboration with CNMI at the Gucci Hub on September 19th 2018. The decision to show in Paris is part of a creative tribute to France, started under the supervision of Alessandro Michele with the Pre-Fall 2018 advertising campaign inspired by the Paris student protests in 1968. Also the Cruise 2019 show was be in France, and to be exact in Arles, on the Alyscamps ancient site.
