The classic Givenchy style codes for the new Horizon Bag
The handbag designed by Riccardo Tisci explicitly refers to the style codes of the Parisian fashion house
Characterized by its long horizontal band inspired by the classic Givenchy wardrobe, the Horizon Bag can be perceived in both the men’s and women’s collections as a simple graphic pattern matched with more elaborate or more urban style garments.
Its structured simple volumes and shapes, combined with the use of different leathers, recall the volume effects and the different textures that can be admired in the Givenchy boutiques and catwalk shows.
As a synonym of hope for Riccardo Tisci, the Horizon name was chosen to convey a positive message and to evoke the prospect of a bright future. The Spring 2017 pre-collection introduces the new Nano style alongside the already famous Medium, Small and Mini.
