Ika Butoni Haute Couture s/s18

The Hôtel de Crillon in Paris, renovated and reopened after four years of work, hosted the fashion show by Ika Butoni. The designer, born in Indonesia and raised in Bali, strongly tied to her roots, has always combined tradition and innovation in her creations, giving value and continuity to ancient artisan techniques, making her pieces timeless. Elaborate embroideries were the leitmotif of the collection, as well as macramé proposed as a decorative element. The palette was made up of earth colors, from ocher to beige, and the sky from her wonderful island.
