Il Gufo and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection
Art and magic meet in the new Be Magic initiative. Six “magical” appointments starting from October all the way to May.
The Peggy Guggenheim Collection has organized for the Family Card members a brand new calendar of activities featuring in six appointments in as many places in Venice from October 2017 to March 2018. The focus is on magic and on mystery, which are also the sources of inspiration for the Autumn/Winter 2017 collection by Il Gufo.
The original creative workshops involve a number of landmarks in Venice and provide the participants with unique experiences filled with amazement and wonder. From witnessing the enchanting glass blowing techniques at Fornace Berengo Studio 1989 in Murano to experimenting alchemical potions in the ancient pharmacy in Ca’ Rezzonico. From the prodigious optical illusions at Peggy Guggenheim’s house to the full immersion in the fantastic world of the Teatro Goldoni. as well as the discovery of the techniques behind the development of a photograph at the ISOLAB and of the many mysteries of the history of Venice unveiled by the voyager and writer Alberto Toso Fei.
The Be Magic initiative: a six month magical itinerary full of excitement made possible by the support of Il Gufo, the renowned children’s clothing Italian company in partnership with the famous Venetian museum.
