The winner is…

London-based designer, Grace Wales Bonner, from the Wales Bonner brand, is the winner of the LVMH Prize for Young Designers 2016. The jury, made up of J. W. Anderson (Loewe), Nicolas Ghesquière (Louis Vuitton), Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld (Fendi), and Riccardo Tisci (Givenchy) favored  Grace’s creations, which constitute an authentic stylistic bridge between Europe and Africa. The fashion designer received €300,000 and a one-year of internship within the LVMH group. Special Prize went to the Canadian, Vejas Kruszewski, from Vejas, for his mature style despite his very young age and his independent spirit.
