Julianna Bass Haute Couture A/W 17/18
Designer Julianna Bass was inspired by the work entitled “Disastres VI” by Berliner Stefan Hirsig,a painting that depicts faces expressing anxiety, apathy, and reticence. These feelings are translated into a lively explosion of colors and a weave of chiffon and silk. A play on folds becomes versatile thanks to thermochromic ink: lilac, ivory, and orchid shades are opaque or else revived by metallic reflections of gold and silver. The simplicity and functionality of the designer’s pieces meet the needs of a modern woman who looks towards the future.
