Kanye West, concert-show for 20 million fans
About 20 million people followed the concert-show of the rapper and fashion designer Kanye West. Scheduled between the third Yeezy Season 3 Adidas Originals collection and the launch of “The Life of Pablo” album, the show was organized last Thursday at New York’s Madison Square Garden. It reached such a considerable number of viewers thanks to the decision to make this a public event, and to screen the performance simultaneously in selected cinema theatres around the globe, as well as online.
The “catwalk show” staged by acclaimed contemporary artist Vanessa Beecroft, also featured celebrities like Naomi Campbell and Veronica Webb, besides counting on the presence of the vast Kardashian clan in the stands. The artistic director of Balmain, Olivier Rousteing, was also seen at the venue, applauding the musician and fashion designer.
