La Coqueta, all the grace of a Spanish mum
The brand, which designs lovely dresses and accessories for little ones, is nestled in North London, but is “Proudly Made in Spain”.
This Spanish brand is called La Coqueta but is located in the north of the English capital. It was created and strongly wanted by a mother of five children whose first daughter, Flavia, instilled in her an interest in kids fashion: with her vintage look, she would attract the attention of passer-bys. The designer had studied psychology, but her passion and love for children’s fashion became predominant. She then began to contact Spanish fashion designers and establish fruitful collaborations.
La Coqueta was born with the goal of creating traditional, timeless fashion for children, but one that also incorporates a chic and contemporary style for our modern world. The entire collection is “Proudly Made in Spain”. The brand, which opened its first boutique in the heart of Hampsted, creates beautiful dresses and shoes, which are functional and hard-wearing.
The 2016 Spring/Summer collection is an authentic celebration of colors and prints, with an ever-vintage mood and the introduction of swimwear.
