The new Christmas capsule collection by Massimo Giorgetti for Emilio Pucci

Emilio Pucci proposes for the upcoming holiday season a delicious accessory capsule collection with two new prints. The ‘Turisti’ pattern, a snapshot depicting a group of tourists in Florence with the most famous and universally beloved monuments in the Tuscany capital in the background, is inspired by the extravagant soul of an unprecedented and unusual Pucci woman. Born from the re-interpretation of the hand-painted skirts of 1954, the ‘Aulenti’ motif invites us to look to the past but always keeping an eye to the future in order to adopt new perspectives. Classic leather goods shapes are reinterpreted in a modern key and are matched with optical motifs in bright and strong colour tones.

Available in the Emilio Pucci boutiques worldwide and on the www.emiliopucci.com official website, the capsule collection is the result of the conceptual and inventive work of Massimo Giorgetti. Born in 1977 in Rimini in Romagna, Italy, Pucci new creative director can already boast creating the successful brand MSGM and be proud of a truly original style calligraphy consisting of unique prints and quite bold colour choices. He might be young but he certainly has the necessary amount of talent for being selected as the new creative director at Emilio Pucci, a fashion house synonym with heritage, style and tradition in each of its print, colour, pattern.

Giorgetti, who will continue to design MSGM dividing his time between Florence and Milan, is the perfect match for the DNA of the fashion house founded by Emilio Pucci in 1950, when the designer opened his first boutique in Capri and immediately distinguished himself for the use of bright colours and of bold strong patterns that profoundly influenced the fashion of the following decades.
