Lenzing redefines the concept of textile softness
Claudia Mommer, product manager for Lenzing Modal®, explains: “We realised that softness is becoming an increasingly important factor for brands and fashion retailers. It is something that can be felt everywhere as a steadily growing number of our clients are asking for measurement systems to explain the softness of our fibres in absolutely physical terms. In practical terms, measurement physical methods have been developed to make softness a “visible” concept to all effects in order to make clear and obvious the complex textile softening process without considering, for obvious reasons, different incontestable personal taste. The Lenzing methods are, moreover, already well known in the scientific world.
