Louis Vuitton Time Capsule Milan

A fashion trip in the history of the luxury brand Louis Vuitton, on special display in the most regal square of Milan, piazzetta Reale, from 20 September to 20 October 2019.

From the magnificent archives of the Maison, full of fine objects and accessories, clothes and design objects, the representatives who can interpret the history of LV from 1854 to the present have been chosen, in an exhibition entitled ‘Louis Vuitton Time Capsule Milan’ and open free to the public.

You immediately get in touch with the high craftsmanship of the ‘Artisan room’ which shows the great craftsmanship behind the creation of each piece. On the chronological notes of the brand, timeless iconic models are displayed and become culture by explaining the origin of the Damier canvas, created in 1888, and the subsequent Monogram canvas, which juxtaposes floral motifs, geometric shapes and the initials “LV”. The dna theme of the Maison is always that of travel and traveling, elegant and innovative – ‘Journeys around the world’ and ‘Elegance in Motion’ – with beautiful trunks and bags, backpacks and suitcases, luxury accessories and dresses, which have accompanied and transformed people’s lives, sometimes reinterpreted by artistic collaborations with internationally renowned designers and stylists. <BT>
