Margiela : The Hermès Years
The first exhibition on Martin Margiela and his years at Hermès will be presented at the MoMu in Antwerp from March 31st to August 27th, 2017. In fact, the most iconoclastic among designers became creative director for the great Parisian brand of leather goods in 1997, and the exhibition will underline the relationship between the fashion line that bears his name and the collections designed for the revered French fashion house. Two terms can be defined as the foundation of this exhibition: deconstruction and luxury.
