In Matera, an award for young designers

The city of Basilicata , designated European Capital of Culture in 2019, will host the final night of the “Cittá dei Sassi” Fashion Award on June 28th

The “Cittá dei Sassi” Fashion Award is a contest for designers, who this year will compete under the theme of “fashion, elegance and creativity”. It focuses on young designers, active in the field of high fashion, and was established to promote creative minds from any part of the world who specialise in women’s total look. Thanks to this event, designers will be able to showcase their skills at an international level on the prestigious stage. Among the prizes awarded, the “Fashion in Film” award will be dedicated to Marilyn Monroe, the style icon, to mark ninety years since the birth of the Hollywood star.
