Matériel-Tiko Paksa s/s 2016

At the helm of the historic fashion house founded in 1949 there have been several Georgian young designers. Since 2003 Matériel brings together three different designers: Tiko Paksashvili, Lika Chitaia and Aleksandre Akhalkatsishvili who design three different mini collections. Showcased at MBTFW, the Tiko Paksashvili collection is inspired by Tadao Ando aesthetics and its rigorous lines and perfect structures. Focus on pockets that like a leitmotif remind of some details of traditional costumes without falling into the folklore trap. Innovative materials and total modernity.
