TOMORROWLAND

New York and Japan

Tomorrowland, one of the coolest Japanese cult labels, landed in New York City with a brand new 300 square metre store located in Broome Street, bang in the heart of Soho. Alongside the eponymous men’s, women’s and accessories collection, available in Japan in more than 160 Tomorrowland boutiques, the NYC boutique offers also the collections of brands and designers such as Isabel Marant, Dries Van Noten, Acne Studios, Alexander Wang and Jean-Paul, Knott, Knott, Knott Men, Hyke, Blue Work, Golden Goose as well as accessories including WANT Les Essentiels, jewellery by the Japanese labels like Siri Siri, Satomi Kawakita, Shihara, and original homeware by Kimono Glass, le typographe, Arquiste, Archivia. The boutique in New York is the very first Tomorrowland store outside Japan.

Dubai

Thirty per cent of the stock on offer sold during the opening hour of the first day of trade. The outstanding success of the first brick-and-mortar store by Not Just A Label, opened in the Dubai Design District, also know as d3, is indeed undeniable. Labelled as a ‘fashion sensorium’ by Stefan Siegel, the visionary founder of Not Just A Label, the 800 square metre store offers a fully immersive retail experience. It showcases a very carefully edited selection of unique items by 200 new labels and brands from the Not Just A Label portfolio of 18,000 emerging designers from over 50 countries worldwide. The three day launch included a dynamic series of events including film screenings, British Council workshops, seminars, and live performances.
