Fashion and cinema meet in the Canary Islands
A magical room, the nature park El Roque Nublo and a promise made by a granddaughter to a grandfather. These are the premises of the short film by Manuel Velasco starring Kira Miro and Leticia Etala where the Gran Canaria landscape and the fashion by Custo Barcelona merge to tell the story.
Part of a project named Fashionlins focused on combining cinema and fashion the short movie premiered at Gran Canaria Moda Cálida 2017 Fashion Week, the event held from June 15th to 18th at ExpoMeloneras and supported by Cabildo of Gran Canaria and Consejería de Gobierno de Industria, Comercio, Artesanía, Arquitectura y Vivienda.
From the purely fashion point of view in terms of beachwear, Ruiz Palmas, Carlos San Juan, The Knot Company and Arena Negra were some of the most interesting fashion shows by local brands and fashion designers.
Also on the runway, the latest creations by Agua Bendita, PS Swimwear, ES Collection, Dolores Cortés, the internationally renowned Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Holas Beachwear and Nuria González.
