Patuna Couture ss 2016

Fascinated by the light of the Giverny Gardens. Enthralled by the grandiose architecture of the Alexandre III Bridge. The momentous city that is Paris, and its timeless art, have again inspired Patuna in its “Bridges to Paradise” collection. Structured organza mimics idealized bridges, contrasting with the fluidity of silk chiffon, smooth and flowing like the river Seine. Buttons and zippers do not make an appearance in creations where flowers depicting the eternally renowned gardens are all hand-painted on silk by the designer herself. Pins are tiny masterpieces, paying homage to the great master that was Monet.
