Playtime Paris blows out ten candles
The international children’s and maternity trade show will celebrate its 10th anniversary from July 2nd to 4th at the Parc Floral in Paris
Playtime Paris is preparing to celebrate its 10th anniversary during its next summer edition, programmed from Saturday, July 2nd to Monday, July 4th – the traditional days of the summer editions – at the Parc Floral in Paris.
Ten years of re-creations that will be worthily celebrated with the presentation of new collections for Spring-Summer 2017.
A new illustrator will also make her debut during Playtime in the July 2016 edition: Manon Debaye, chosen by the trade show as “Illustrator of the Year”. Currently, Manon is studying at the Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg, and won the contest organized by the Paris trade show, in collaboration with the most renowned schools of illustration. In each of the landscapes she created for Playtime Paris, New York, and Tokyo, the fauna and flora have reacquired their rights and created a sacred-like union with all that inhabits them. Nonetheless, if the summer edition will be full of new and pleasant surprises, the winter one – 19th edition – which took place last January and was dedicated to the fascinating theme of the “Marvelous”, hosted 500 collections (an increase of 11% as compared to the previous winter edition) belonging to the world of mother and child. Among the participating labels, 71% – the majority – proposed children’s fashions, 21% design and infant sets, and 8% creations for motherhood.
