Sarabanda: sophisticated garments and many creative ideas
The Italian brand unveils its Spring/Summer 2018 collection at the 85th edition of Pitti Immagine Bimbo in Florence
Let’s see what the Sarabanda Girls and Sarabanda Boys will wear in Spring/Summer 2018. The latest collection by the Italian brand comprises of elegant garments for special occasions as well as innovative daywear solutions, all designed and crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. Like, for example, the ‘Denim Tattoo’ range of everyday fashionable casual clothes for girls with lots of graphics with hearts, skulls, dice, panthers, playing cards. For boys, traditional denim and old school tattoos, both on badges and graphics featuring, once again, hearts, skulls, dice, panthers, playing cards. The ‘Elegante’ theme for special occasions comprises of lightweight dresses made of precious fabrics and golden or platinum finishes for lace, sequins and pleated materials for the girls.
The boys are also very elegant and suitably attired for any special occasion. The suits mix colors and patterns and are accessorised with ties, pocket square, bow ties.The ‘Black and White’ theme is particularly sophisticated for a minimalist, never over the top, contemporary interpretation of elegance. For her, bomber jackets brightened up by silver sequins, maxi dresses, stripes with touches of strawberry red. For him, faux leather, micro patterns, typography graphics, simple combinations of black & white with flashes of mint green. The classic contrast between the two opposite colours appears also on jackets, trousers, sweatshirts and T-shirts. Last but not least, the ‘Urban Rock’ theme designed for an active lifestyle both at school and off school, resulting in unique, sophisticated, suitable for everyday looks. The girls opt for a classic rock style made of black denim enriched with silver sequin badges and heavy metal graphics. The boys wear ripped bleached grey denim, T-shirts and sweatshirts with lots of raw edges, heavy metal graphics, tie&dye colours.
Sarabanda also unveils the Minibanda collection for the 0 to 24 months age range, made of comfortable cool fabrics and with excellent fit, designed for everyday life and for the special occasions. The key look for young girls in the ‘Ceremony’ range is a plissé dress with an irregular cut, wide volumes, gold plating finish that makes it particularly precious, to be worn with a short cardigan in gold lurex that adds light and shimmer to the look but has a very soft and comfortable feel. The coolest look for young boys is a linen suit in natural colours, enriched by details with allover pony graphics.
The ‘Daily’ range of daywear includes a two-piece romper suit and a long sleeved cotton top with black and white stripes with fun fluorescent pink graphics on one of the sleeves. An all-in-one embellished with a white and black polka dots bow and small fluffy pink details. An edgy and very trendy black and white onesie enriched with a macro hearts allover print. To face the summer heat, a cotton short onesie with an optical illusion printed striped waistcoat and a nice motifs with prints and embroideries on the front. Only for baby girls, the ‘Rock’ theme featuring irresistible black washed denim shorts with a super lightweight feel, a big bow on the front and many fun ruches on the back. As well as two pretty onesies that match black or bleached denim with feather-light tulle printed with white and black polka dots and delicate candy graphics. The Minibanda collection also includes a series of unisex, colourful, soft garments in cotton tricot with #mini graphics destined to become a social media phenomenon.
