Geoffrey B.Small. A radical show examines the idea of the Queen from different angles with a controversial new direction: that classic is now avant-garde, and from fabric to construction represents the world’s most extreme handmade technology. The surreal model performances, set design by Paul Bradley, and 1970’s high- speed punk contrasts sharply with the entirely hand woven fabrics by the Colombo family in Badoere di Morgano and the provocative new collection-as 21st century queens walk theirlands- an inheritance of destruction, waste, rubble and trash.
